Grant Oosse named new Boys Director of Coaching

SCOR-Meulensteen is pleased to announce its new Boys Director of Coaching, Grant Oosse. Grant is a full-time staff coach and will continue that role in addition to being the Boys Director of Coaching. In this newly-created position, Coach Grant will help develop and improve coaches so players can maximize their potential.

He has personally witnessed the club's growth and success playing for SCOR in his youth and as a coach for the club the last 8 years. Grant is an active member of the Rockford community; in addition to coaching at club level, he's been a key part of the Rockford High School Girls soccer program for the past 4 years helping the teams achieve 2 OK Red Conference championships.

Grant recently graduated in the spring of 2018 from Davenport University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

"I am very excited and thankful for this opportunity. I have a strong passion for soccer that started in this club when I was a just a kid. I enjoy working with our community youth because I’ve had the opportunity to actively participate in the development and growth of many young players and teams and see what a positive impact soccer brings into their lives. Our club is constantly growing and improving and I feel so lucky to be a part of it. I look forward to see what the future holds."
